About Me

About Me

Hello, Art Lovers! I’m Charlotte—a multi-medium artist in Tucson, Arizona, who captures nature’s fleeting moments of transformation and invites you to see the world with fresh wonder.

If you’ve been searching for art that stops you mid-step and makes you feel something—you’re in the right place. I flow freely between watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, and whatever else calls to me. What ties my work together is a focus on nature’s quiet revelations and the hope they inspire.

What My Work Does For You

You know those suspended moments when nature stops you in your tracks? Fall leaves ignited by morning sun over turquoise water. . . that instant when you suddenly feel life’s cyclical beauty and impermanence with startling clarity?  That’s what I capture.

When you bring one of my pieces into your space, something shifts. You’ll find yourself pausing to notice details, feel emotions you didn’t expect, and wonder about the story unfolding before you. Suddenly, you begin to see the world differently—recognizing greater possibilities and opportunities, and unexpected beauty.

That’s hope. And that’s what you deserve to feel in your own space.

The Journey

I’ve pursued creative endeavors all my life, exploring through all my senses for different ways to answer the artistic call. The one constant? I keep what I do intriguing—for myself and for you.

My creative restlessness started early. At three years old, I grew bored of my crayons and wandered the house searching for something new. In my parents’ bathroom cabinets, I discovered exciting new art supplies—white, fabric-like cylinders shaped somewhat like crayons. I was thrilled! I pulled one out and tried to draw on the cupboard. Nothing happened. I tried several more surfaces before taking my “faulty crayon” to my mother to complain.

She explained, in age-appropriate terms, what I’d actually found. I was disgruntled, but she brought home markers soon after to expand my collection.

That moment explains the wide variety of art supplies piled in my studio today, and why I collect supplies with . . . possibilities – like eggshells!

   Beyond the Canvas

When I’m not creating in the studio, you’ll find me managing and playing in the non-profit orchestra I founded, experimenting with recipes that work within our family’s dietary restrictions, or working with needle and thread on sewing and needlework projects. I’m always creating, always exploring, always looking for that next moment of discovery.
